My friend Doug Miers nearly had a comic he wrote turned into a movie. It was called “The Exec”, about corporate wars fought with weapons or something like that. Sadly he passed shortly after from sudden heart failure and the movie deal died with him. See the comic here: https://comicbookrealm.com/series/31117/0/the-exec
Correct me if I’m wrong (and I’m sure you will!) but wouldn’t someone first have to buy the rights? Meaning she would make money from the sale whether it actually was developed into a film or not?

If Laura’s book is filmed, the first thing to do is change the title.

My sister, Shirley Tallman, made a TV movie, “The Babysitter’s Seduction”. It plays on Lifetime every so often.

How much work is a Hollywood “House Husband” expected to do? I mean, you know, maids and gardeners sort of take the sting out of the Honey-do list.

Your daughter would most definitely fill the roll of a Hollywood spoiled brat….
