For single sleepers, having a coffin like bed could be a good thing. Keeps out noise and light while being easier to heat/air condition. Put an entertainment system in the lid so that you can watch TV as you drift off to sleep. Have a lighting /audio system that simulates sunrise and plays nature sounds to wake you up. I’d be interested.
