Hey, Affie.

I met up with my friend today and we had a great time. However he never stops talking and when people talk for a long time, I struggle to take everything in and I end up switching off. It was still nice to see him though and to meet in a different town.

I thought you already had your COVID shots? Or jabs as we say here. Anyway it’s entirely up to you whether you have them or not. I had 2 Pfizer and the Moderna booster. To tell you the truth, I only got them because I was desperate for things to go back to normal and also because my Dad is in the vulnerable category for health. I got the jabs to protect him. He had COVID a few months ago but he didn’t end up being hospitalized for it. He was in hospital for kidney stones and he found out he had COVID there. His symptoms were that of a head cold.

Don’t let anybody pressure you. The vaccine is currently being trialled anyway. Some people would rather wait until the trials are over and that’s fine. I’m very much a “Live and Let Live” person and never say to people “You shouldn’t be doing that” or “That’s a bad idea” etc.

Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

Could be worse. It could a cow pie instead of a shepherd’s pie. (Sorry if I have offended anyone.) Shepherd’s pie is good, but it’s not something I’d want to have all the time.
