That’s rich

Just means he’s a self-interest group.

Didn’t Benjamin Franklin say that only the rich should be in politics, or something like that?

But he thinks he can buy anything or anyone.

Actually we did have retired company executive elected to congress here. He did a good job, but Republican leadership hated him. He actually was respectful to Democrats and listened to their ideas. Couldn’t be bought.

Which was why the Washington establishment hated President Trump so much!

NO one is THAT rich.

Not until we see his taxes.

He’s not beholding to anyone, that can’t be said by most politicians….

That’s not how it works. People get rich by getting any money they can. They don’t ever stop because they can’t be TOO rich. Wealthy politicians are still happy to take money from anyone.

Also, some politicians just made up their billions. They’re actually broke and have teams of lawyers trying to fend off the IRS. But it turns out you can make a good living off running for political office – you just take campaign contributions and find ways to pay them to yourself. Meanwhile, they keep telling people how rich they are.

Funny. I recall someone saying something similar during their run for POTUS. “I’m rich, really rich”, As if that were a valid claim for your vote. But that someone did win.

That’s what some fools thought about Trump! Wrong!
