Iām right there with you, Mittens! It takes me 2 minutes to type out one sentence. Why? 1. The keyboard is too small for my fingers. I tried to enlarge it but my phone doesnāt have that option. 2. The dreaded autocorrect. 3. I donāt use abbreviations like āurā. I type out whole words.I wonder how The Mittens would do if Mama took in some foster kittens. I bet he would teach them a lot.
I got four foster kittens yesterday. I sent the info and pics to a fellow poster on Ten Cats and he kindly posts pictures for me. Iām too stupid to figure out how to do it.
āSusan has a bunch of kittens out in foster care and she got 5 more yesterday so we had to do some juggling. One foster mom is good at working with the semi-ferals so she got those. I got her two current ones and two more that went to the shelter yesterday.
The two oranges are brother and sister. The sister isnāt as orange as her brother.
The grey one and the black ones are siblings, the grey one is the girl. Everyone gets along just fine. Susan said sheās the shyest but she LOVES Moose. Right from the first visit last she was attached to him.
The black one thinks heās the boss. Heās the smallest of the group but struts around like he owns the place.
I should have them for about 3 weeks. Thatās when spots at Best Friends will open up for getting them spayed and neutered. ā
I knew a woman who bought a historic house in town and tried to get the city council to start a recognition program for such structures. She showed me the one-page proposal she had passed out at the meeting. I instantly knew why her plan had failed: she had relied on autospellchecking. She had intended to propose a āplaqueā for historical houses. However, in the several instances where the word appeared, it was spelled āplagueā. No wonder it failed; she was āwishing a plague on all their [historical] housesā.
