With earthworms, it’s not so much dirty as it is slimy.

Worms at $9 a dozen,I’ll say that there’s money to be made.

My son and a friend (not of this country) decided they were going to go fishing the next day. So my son, ran the hose on the lawn for a while, and after dark went picking night-crawlers.

The next day the friend asked where he got the worms. My son told him he picked them after dark with a flashlight. The friend said, “Next time I go fishing, can I come to your place to pick worms?”

Seriously didn’t realize he also had them in his yard… true story

Speaking of worms…We went to Chautauqua Lake every week end to fish….. in the middle of the night, we grabbed flashlights and went hunting for night crawlers at a golf course… I cant tell you how big these were…huge! Plus suckers and crabs at the bate shop….OY VEY!

I think this it TMI for me….he struck the wrong cord…
