I once goaded a raving gun-nut into shouting that he had a right to own an 8-inch howitzer with nuclear ammunition. There are some weapons that must NEVER be in private hands. Once that idea is absorbed, then we all agree on some form of gun control, and the only issue remaining is where on the spectrum of destructiveness a line must be drawn.
The problem here, Clyde, is that with the disparity in treatment between the rich & those with a soul, the government would no doubt sell him one – probably at below cost, and then write him a tax deduction for it.
