    They could do the same thing that the sports arenas did during Covid to replace fans in the stands. Have cardboard cut-outs with pictures of products to fill in the gaps.

    Our store calls it flex stocking

    There appears to be a cracker shortage but no one told the folks who make cheez-its because we have plenty of those,just not all the flavors

    We cover the tags in the empty spots and fill with what we have

    I think it’s a sad commentary on the United States, what with the horrors going on in so many parts of the world (and, yes, in the U.S. too) that we consider it having to “make do” with fewer cracker choices……

    I saw pretzel rods at one store that expired in December 2019. That was in January 2022!
