What souped up Selectric? All we had were manual typewriters When I was in the Army. They got worn out because you had to pound hell out of the keys to make the bottom carbon copy legible. One cool thing was the ones we used in Korea in the 70s were left over from WW2. They made stuff to last . that was back in the days recycled Budweiser cans were made from REAL metal.
