DO SOMETHING WITH THEM! Carrots, orange juice. Sweet potatoes, pineapple. Broccoli, pressure cooker and butter. Didn’t you ever help your mom in the kitchen?
Your ancestors needed sugar, and found it in fruits. That’s the good stuff that’s good for you. They didn’t find ripe fruit very often, though, so they ate it like crazy when they did. Now we eat sugar like crazy and we can find it all the time, so we get fat.

EEeewww. Don’t cook them! Pick, rinse, eat. There are likely ones you’ll really enjoy. And they’re nice and crunchy, like chips*.
*Not a substitute for potato/ corn chips

To eat healthy, you have to make cooking a hobby, otherwise one-step cooking of plain vegetables is going to fail.

Cooking for yourself is the most life-affirming “hobby” you can have. If you’re too lazy to look up recipes on the Internet, you should starve.
