The current movie “Red One” has the best explanation I’ve seen to date. The toys are miniaturized and staged throughout the world ahead of time and are replenished into St. Nick’s sleigh via containers. Oh yeah, and St. Nick is buff.
Nate’s reasoning reminded me of a skit from this year’s SNL Christmas compilation show that was on tv this week. John Malkovich was sitting in a chair, reading “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” to a group of children, interrupting himself to make observations throughout. I especially enjoyed this one: “Did you know that it is estimated that Santa’s sleigh weighs 353,000 tons? Traveling at 650 miles per second would create such an enormous friction that Santa and his reindeer would burst into flames, like a meteor entering the atmosphere. This is a scientific fact.”
