There are no particles, just energy packets. You cannot measure the energy unless it is part of a packet. It can exist outside of a packet in a transitory state. The act of measurement can only be performed on packets. You cannot measure the indeterminate state of transference or transition. Your instruments are all made of energy packets, and that’s all that they are able to measure.
Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle: You can’t measure both the position and the speed of a particle at the same time. Heisenberg was driving Schrodinger to a physics conference. He was speeding. A highway trooper stopped him and asked, as they frequently do, “Do you know how fast you were going?” Heisenberg replied, “No, but I know where we are.” The cop said he had clocked Heisenberg doing 80 mph in a 55 mph zone (128 kph in an 88 kph zone for everybody else on the planet). Heisenberg threw up his hands in dismay and said “Great! Now we’re lost!”. The cop looked at him funny and asked if he could look in the trunk. After doing so he came back and asked if they knew there was a dead cat in the trunk. Schrodinger replied “Well he is now!”.

Rolf has a better understanding of it than most of those claiming to explain it on You Tube.
