Covid is real. It’s the reality of covid that Democrats bow to, not the virus itself.

I can see why q-servatives would have trouble understanding the distinction. They can’t seem to understand anything to do with reality.

Loyalty to a masochistic self-destructive policy is foolish. Use your common sense, think for yourself, and don’t senselessly follow others over the cliff.

Uh, it’s a freakin’ infectious DISEASE, not a political movement, Dummy. Medical science and societal cooperation can very much deal with it, like with smallpox, measles, polio, etc.. But I guess Awful Garbage is down with over one million COVID 19 deaths in this nation, the majority of which could have been avoided if it wasn’t politicized. It doesn’t matter what religion, political party, or any other “freedom thing” you belong to. Disease kills equally. Not using all means to stop it, medical science, government agencies, social cooperation, etc., is the height of willful stupidity.

Calling this toon ridiculous doesn’t do justice to its ridiculousness.

As history teacher, this saddens, amuses and once again proves that the more things change, the more they stay the same. History is replete with examples of fear of, dismissive behavior of, conspiratorial thinking regarding the “new” fill-in-the-blank. While the final chapter regarding Covid CAN’T be written for years, I think that cartoons like these will be primary source materials for future history students that will just cause them to shake their heads and say “what were they thinking?”.

With all the right-wing COVID tantrums, one thing remains true; Those who refused to take polio, measles, rubella, and tetanus, and other vaccine shots for whatever personal reason, are dead. No progeny created to carry on the stupid. So, conservatives, please continue to ignore the Darwin effect. We promise to place smiley-face stickers on your headstones.

Al, please go to a large gathering of unmasked, unvaccinated people, who agree with you. It may turn out to be a fun gathering where nothing happens. Great. If it turns out a bunch of those folks don’t feel well afterward please go- as quickly as you can- to a gathering with Branco, Garrison, Varvel, Lester, and Payne and tell them about how YOU would NEVER wear a mask or get vaccinated. Let’s raise a glass to the one million+ American dead and millions more worldwide. And another to the millions more worldwide. And another to the people with long Covid. And another to the millions more still being infected—some of whom are hospitalized, and some of whom are dying. Yes, drink and understand that getting drunk will fuzz your brain and make you act stupid. But you didn’t need alcohol for that.

Let’s see… the administration says basically “be careful and take precautions around dangerous organisms” and the cartoonist with the rectal-cranial inversion phrases it “Bow or face retribution”. Apparently, making the two statements semantically equal is supposed to enrage Goodwyns followers. That’s just stupid.

Republican policies are suicidal, they can keep it to themselves.

Apparently anti science republicans don’t mind dying for a Big Lie.

There is another outbreak of measles and chickenpox in some states this year due to failure to vaccinate. If your kid dies from one of these diseases, it’s totally on your shoulders. You have been criminally negligent. (Assuming Goodwyn has kids, that is.) Just add this on to your list of ignorance about life in general, Al.

Only the Right believes that belief is the basis for science.
