Apple Maps has actually improved a lot since it was first released. I use it all the time to navigate and I’ve very rarely had s problem.

HA! The Google maps vs. apple is hilarious because it’s so true!!! My husband has an iphone, I have an android… we never use his navigation because of apple’s lack of anything maps.

Google Maps made a serious error about the location of the Santa Clara Convention Center. I discovered it when my brother’s covid vaccination clinic was being relocated there. I verified the proper location on Apple Maps, which confirmed the mistake from Google. I submitted a correction to Google and they fixed their map. Every month or so Google sends another “thank you” and updates to the list of how many thousands of times my correction has been accessed.
