The rough part was sleeping with his leg elevated all night.

That’s what you get when you have a need to sleep with a tent light on all night.

Here I though he had gotten lucky.

Camped out by Loch Ness and found out about midgeys. Woke up looking like have measles. Luckily, they didn’t itch or not much, long time ago. Anyway stopped and got those yellow sticky strips they used to sell. That helped a lot.

Oh Monty.

Bug repellant. And bring two. One aerosol, one not.

Looks less painful than his time at the beach.

Another reason not to camp.

The inventor of mosquito netting deserves a prize!

You would think the stinky sock would repel anything!!!!!!! :)

Imagine if mosquitoes fed all blood, both sexes? Only the females and only while holding eggs.

As one who has camped many, many a night in the woods, bugs will find you no matter the defenses.

What a schmuck! Monty, why didn’t you unstick the sock?! Now you look like you have the plague!
