    In general use, 23 skidoo seems to have meant something more like Scram, Take off, Beat it, Get the lead out, Get your rear in gear, “We’d better haul a$$ out of here or we’ll get caught having a great time”:

    According to Wikipedia it does NOT mean have a good time. “…refers to leaving quickly, being forced to leave quickly by someone else, or taking advantage of a propitious opportunity to leave.”
