It has been awhile since she has set the kitchen on fire. Giving the Fire Dept. a rest.

I suggest Shoe not eat the mushrooms

And who is the “good” person here—Shoe or the cook?

I learned a long time ago, while in the U.S. Navy in fact, Don’t insult the cooks. There are so many ways they can get back at you. And you really really don’t want what they will do.

Well, ‘Shoe’, you have just earned a serving of ‘burnt’ daily special ! ! ! !

Next cookbook implies that there have been others.

Not much artistry involved with Roz’ cooking.

If the food is so bad, why does Shoe keep eating there? The waitress should advise him to go elsewhere.

Always with the put-downs. If you don’t like the food, vote with your wallet and go somewhere else.

“Good people”? Well…present company excepted.

Shoe if you were just a little less antagonistic toward Roz, your food just may improve. It’s unlikely, but it’s worth a try.
