Aww, Tregg, when I was growing up most men routinely carried a pocket knife. As an only child, I was both “son and daughter,” so my dad gave me a pocket knife when I was still in elementary school.

I’ve carried a knife every day since I was about 8 yo.

When I was in the Navy, one of the handiest tools ever was a pocket knife that had a screwdriver as one of its blades. I never went to work without it, altho I don’t recall carrying it anywhere else, but I may have. It was nearly 50 years ago, so memory is fuzzy.

People used to carry knifes everywhere, very handy, sometimes entertaining, until they were determined to be WMD’s and a carrying 2" penknife was declared domestic terrorism.

In the 80’s, I went on a few dates where I probably SHOULD have brought a knife.

A pocket-knife is not something you BRING, it’s something you HAVE in your pocket. (and PLEASE, can’t you leave those poor trees alone?)

Never leave home without one.

I can’t imagine not having my knives..er..knife on me.

… say the ones who spend more time looking at their computer/vanity-mirror/(phone)/camera/writing-pad than gazing into their dearest eyes.

You can etch initials in a tree with a fingernail. I did.

Never know when a girl needs to defend herself.
