Here in Canada it’s legal and even sold in local shops right next to the cat litter or incense.

We once had a cat that we would give catnip to. He would would eat it, roll around in it, and generally get high. About a week later, he would roam around the house hollering for more catnip. A real junkie. I tried to get him into a 12 step program, but I couldn’t find one that would take cats.

Doesn’t look like they had a good day of it.
