Marcos needs a good public speaking coach. They’re out there and he’ll gain enough confidence to do what he should do to at least get through the wedding.
OK, Marcus, now this is getting annoying! Your dad was right yesterday…you weren’t afraid to let an entire arena know that you love Nicole, why are you afraid to let your family know the same thing?
This IS family! Everybody involved in the wedding are family or long-time friends. I’m just reellee TIRED of Marcus’ inability to talk in front of people. Seeing as the wedding will be the people he talks to on a daily/regular basis, the story line is getting worn. They need to move on to her-n-him, not just him. Or, the wedding itself.
One of Marcus’ brothers is a priest and he’s not a stranger. Can he perform a wedding for Marcus and Nicole, at least in private? It would be short and sweet, and Marcus only have to utter two words. That’s it. LOL But if Marcus keeps bellyaching up, the whole family might consider a serious intervention to help him. Who knows? (◑﹏◐ )
There you go, Marcus, that’s just what I’ve been suggesting. Although, there would still be people looking on, but not in-person. He and Nicole could be exchanging vows from a church in Honolulu while the wedding guests looked on from various reception areas on the mainland.
Marriage is the attitude and lifestyle, not the ceremony. Just have the ceremony in Rev. Clayton’s living room with him officiating and the parents as witnesses and nobody else.

The reason I consider eloping is because I don’t like showing affection in front of people I know and I get stage fright.

He plays in front of millions of people every week, and he proposed to her in front of a whole arena. All of a sudden he’s shy?
