When I had covid, there was a moment when I got thirsty and thought I should get up and get a glass of water. But I was tired, so had the battle between tired and thirsty. I was debating the merits of lying down a little longer and getting up and getting the water . . . then my husband came by to say goodnight (I was sleeping on the couch to reduce his exposure) and I realized two whole hours had gone by since I started thinking about going to get a drink of water.
That was the weirdest moment while I had covid. Two hours that just vanished from my memory.

Usually it’s a battle between 2 other choices – one of which involves a stop in the restroom.

When you have diabetes the choice is easier. Eat or go into a coma.
