I was in the ER on Sunday night. Hernia. And because I had covid at the time they put me into isolation and it took forever for anyone to come and do whatever needed to be done. They gave me a useless pain medication. I was literally screaming from pain for nearly 4 hours before they finally gave me a pain med that worked. At midnight they did an emergency operation which went very quickly and went very well. But the few hours before that were miserable. Worst pain I ever experienced. By far.

Anyone get scolded by nurses that it is an ED and NOT an ER. Because it is not a room but a department?
