There was a Peanuts cartoon in which Sally Brown came home worried and confided to Charlie Brown, “We prayed in school today.” Charles M. Schulz claimed that groups in favour of school prayer and against school prayer both asked him for permission to use the strip. He decided the fairest thing was not to give his permission to it being used for either side of the argument.
This first appeared when my sixth grade teacher made no secret of her faith. Some of the things she did probably wouldn’t be allowed. She expected each of us to say a Bible verse each day. Several kids just said “Jesus wept.” And she quick to use corporal punishment and thought kids who cried were just acting.
Even now, some people believe it is illegal to pray in school. The supreme court actually ruled that school kids, just like all citizens, could pray any time or way they wanted to. What is prohibited is state endorsed prayer, or any attempt to coerce prayer.

By the look of the teacher face the word Lord convey a menacing consequence, hence the complaint of the kid to the king.
