The “cool kids” always made sure we knew we weren’t cool. Now, it doesn’t matter so much, but I’d still like to punch Mike McKinnon right in his face.

I always knew I wasn’t cool. Nerds were never cool until about the turn of the millennium.

Fortunately, I found my own cool group, science fiction fandom, which saved my—well, I was going to say sanity, but that was always in doubt. Let’s say my emotional equilibrium.

Find your own cool group and you can ignore the Cool Kids who ignore you.

The REAL cool kids, don’t need to tell anyone else they are cool.

Carla returns! I think, she also showed up in a sunday that didn’t appear on here for whatever reason. Still at this point it’s pretty clear the original run of strips it’s canon, it’s just much like other strips that have to start over in papers, you had to get everyone else up to speed.

The only times I was cool was when I was outside during winter.

Poor kids are never the “cool” kids but that doesn’t stop us from becoming successful on our own with a bright future. Beats remembering high school as our glory days.

Popularity is a complex thing. On one hand, you’re with people who are better looking and you’re admired by millions. On the other hand, you’re forced to act a certain way in order to maintain it.
