Most likely, a lot of that “nearly infinite” processing power will go to operation of “holodecks” and humanity will spend all its time fantasizing in them.

Moore’s Law: The computer power on microchips will double every year or two.

When things approach infinity comparisons with finite quantities become difficult.

What about all of the applications that had to wait because there wasn’t a computer fast enough to run them?

I’m hoping I’ll be able to simultaneously loaf AND work on quantum mechanics.

It’s like the neural equivalent of communism.
