There are so many problems with those machines, and it’s not always the customer’s fault.So tired of listening to that voice. They should change up the voices to make it more entertaining.
I hate using them, but early in the morning due to lack of help one place only has the self check. I was forced to use it and it took 3 associates and 30+ minutes to get out of the store, so efficient.
And then there’s the bit when you scan & bag faster than the machine likes, tells you to put the item there and then squawks about the unknown item in the baggage area. Thwack n thonk indeed!
