There is no such thing as a best-if-sold-by label. It’s either sell-by-date or best-if-used-by. I also found an article talking about how there’s no expiration date on mini chews, just a coded date (probably when manufactured). Also, the mini chews were introduced in 1998 and it seems that they would last longer than just six months.
