Reality — you absolutely do not use a liquid to extinguish a grease fire.
Thought you weren’t supposed to throw liquids on grease fires. Must have been really weird soup.

Safety tip, from the tediously literal-minded: You don’t try to put out a grease fire with water (or soup).
Unless…
Maybe there’s little water in her soup? That doesn’t sound right.
Maybe there’s lots of fire-retardant in her soup? That sounds better.
