In other news, as my colleauges here accurately observed, Tess’s outfir still looks like a 90’s nighmare. Remember those shirts with the vest sewn in? I think DL does cuz he drew one on Tess.
As Tracy finished undoing his tie he suddenly got distracted.
“I still don’t know why I always wear a stripped tie” he wondered to himself.
As he stood there trying to remember what he was doing before he started thinking about his tie he noticed Tess leaning against the wall looking annoyed.
“Ah yes, Tess”, Tracy grinned as he remembered why he was removing his tie. Dick knew that his wife was always motivated by his superior intellect and knowledge.
“Time to dazzle her” he chuckled slyly. “She’ll be mine in minutes”!
“Our neighbor, Professor Noll taught chemistry at Iowa University” Tracy confidently blurted out.
Tess, continuing to lean against the wall, just sighed to herself.
“Poor, poor Dick. He still thinks showing off his knowledge of things will impress me like it did when I was much younger. He’s so delusional”.
As Tess started to walk away she stopped for a moment, and turning back to face her husband with a cold, icy stare said;
“He should be taught some traffic lessons” before continuing to walk away.
Dick just stood there quietly for a moment wondering what went wrong between Tess and him as a few tears began to well up in his eyes.
Dick silently walked away, suddenly feeling very lonely.
(Meanwhile, back at Diet Smith Enterprise)
Diet was starting to get annoyed. All these interruptions were beginning to get on his nerve. He’d only been able to drink two cartons of milk this morning, not his usual five.
He begrudgly pick up his phone once again.
“Yes, he did work here”. Diet answered as he began to ponder if he should drink chocolate milk next.
Diet Smih is the HR Department secretary? You’d think they had someone else verifying employment. Maybe Liz(z) hired Diet’s HR person to keep from hiring another disaster like Shirl.
BB sez: As Tess started to walk away she stopped for a moment, and turning back to face her husband with a cold, icy stare said;
“He should be taught some traffic lessons” before continuing to walk away.
Dick just stood there quietly for a moment wondering what went wrong between Tess and him as a few tears began to well up in his eyes.
Dick silently walked away, suddenly feeling very lonely.
Sniff, suddenly I’m starting to feel sorry for Dick. Dick, buck up man, it’s only bad writing that has brought you to this sorry state of affairs.

As far as I know, there isn’t such a place as Iowa University.
There’s the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa and Upper Iowa University.
