I’ve only ordered one thing from a TV ad and it was the best appliance I ever had. It was a Toastmaster convection oven for $49.99. It was amazing with chicken. Now, there’s nothing like it on the market.

When I was a kid, I saved up to buy a flying wing that was heavily advertised on TV. The engine never worked, the company refused to replace it under warranty. I now have extremely high sales resistance and commercials will only convince me to NOT buy a product.
