For some reason I just love Marigold’s expression in the last panel.

It’s not the fongers, Marigold. It’s the opposable thems.

Technically, Marigold could have fingers any time she wished if she wanted them by casting a spell. I don’t think I would like to see that though.

They are like nearly a dozen little hooves.

Nothing wrong about it. How else would one fing without fingers?

I never noticed before that Dana uses the “four fingers” model of cartooning…

I’m not jealous….she , like most cartoons, only has four fingers!

She says she’s not jealous, but we have several past conics where it was pretty clear that she was jealous anyway…even if she didn’t really want to admit it.

To me, “fongers” sounds like naughty slang.
