We have the opposite problem with our younger daughter. She literally doesn’t want anything. I asked her for a list, & she said she can’t really think of anything. We thought of one thing we thought she’d like, but her sister already got it for her!
Even as a teen I had very few wants. So one Christmas I facetiously told my parents I wanted a gold-plated, rhinestone studded kazoo. My mom found a plastic one, painted it gold and sprinkled glitter on it.
My grandson wants to get a Lamborghini after he gets his drivers’ license. He’ll have to settle for a 15 year old pickup (although it’s in great shape) when he reaches that age and if the truck’s still running.

A large car offers better protection in a wreck. A small 2-seater means fewer teenagers in the car. I’m not sure which is better.

And Roger! If you so much give Jason ONE video game, you’ll be spending next year in a low-budget motel!

It could’ve been WAY worse, Paige could’ve wanted a date w/Nick Carter.

Other than how dated Paige’s wish is, this is still relatable.

When my son was young I’d get multipage wish lists with color-coding, cross-references and preferred sources.

You know, Peter didn’t say if his sports car had to be a toy or a model or the real thing so technically Roger and Andi could get him one…

In real life, I would say go for a gift of each kid’s favorite food, but this is Andy…

It’s all in the phrasing.

Well, if she’s in high school, Paige is already too old for Leonardo De Crapio.
