That’s too bad. I heard from someone (spoiler alert?) that the movie takes the story in surprising direction – after his great fall, Humpty also has a great winter.
Nowhere does it say Humpty Dumpty was an egg. That misconception has grown after illustrators depicted him as an egg. Most likely the poem is a reference to brutal King Richard III who fell in battle and was bludgeoned so severely his men could not save him.
