Our senior dog (as opposed to our junior dog; pack thing, y’know…) has a job: it is to constantly monitor my husband during his workday here in his home office. When my husband breaks training and goes off leash during the day, the senior dog comes, sits down and stares at me solemnly as if accusing me of sending my husband off. Of course, when he hears my husband coming back he finds a best toy and runs to greet him as if the BEST THING EVER is happening. sigh.
