Sounds like Broomy had political ambitions in the U.S.

I’m guessing Myers’s first inspiration for his backgrounds was the almost realistic swamp Walt Kelly put Pogo and his pals in. They were always moving from one natural setting to another like Broomy does, helping to keep the verbal gags fresh. Broomy’s world is considerably updated!

well…not that I fully disagree with her but the background made me wonder if they had “magic brownies” or something.

I can picture her zapping the rear ends of the majority, picture them getting zapped and jumping in the air, then getting zapped again and again, and again. Yip yip yip yip yip

I wonder if she gets social security?
