The scale is probably thinking weighty thoughts…

If only it worked that way.

Me thinks Flo is in a state of denial. And I don’t mean Egypt.

To be honest, in my opinion, this is childish. A scale is an inanimate object that can’t have either an opinion or control over your intake of food. Magic just doesn’t work, nor do time outs on your scale.
