Natasha, waiting for me on the other side, used to say there was no food. I would either shake it (because the center was the part empty) or pour it back into the bag and then scoop it. Magically it would be “fresh”.
My two previous cats had “half-empty-bowl syndrome,” as do most cats. The cat I now have prefers not to waste food. Buffy finishes everything in her bowl completely, wet food or dry.

The Mitten’s bowl is Full. Some of the filling is food, and some is air!
