Agnes lives in a world where people like her parents mysteriously disappear and bioengineered garlic bologna simulations are a thing. I wonder if Ted ever worked for the Soylent Corporation.
If it is not made from animals it ain’t meat. Still, the non-meat eaters strive to make their soybean creations look like cuts of meat. They must really be craving the real thing.
I enjoy a few different vegetarian products (sausage patties, different kinds of veggie burgers). But something tells me that this particular item out of Agnes’ universe is one that I’d prefer to avoid consuming.

This reminds me: I haven’t had a fried baloney sandwich in decades. Now where did I put that shopping list?
(♫ My baloney has a first name. It’s O-S-C-A-R. . . . ♫)

I know someone who at one time had 31 pounds of bioengineered garlic bologna simulation, and it was in the shape of a snake.
