Why do we need buildup when we know it’s Charles M. Schulz, probably the most famous cartoonist in history. They should just tell us now.

I like this strip because – finally – he gets a nugget of respect from Mrs. Godfrey.

Charles “Sparky” Schulz wrote, drew, lettered and inked by hand 17,897 cartoons in nearly 50 years. He was the first cartoonist to earn two Rubens. I feel fortunate to live in Santa Rosa CA where he drew from 1958 to just before his death in 2000. I love taking out of town visitors to the Charles M. Schulz Museum here in town. He would be 100 years old on Saturday.
