Charles “Sparky” Schulz wrote, drew, lettered and inked by hand 17,897 cartoons in nearly 50 years. He was the first cartoonist to earn two Rubens. I feel fortunate to live in Santa Rosa CA where he drew from 1958 to just before his death in 2000. I love taking out of town visitors to the Charles M. Schulz Museum here in town. He would be 100 years old on Saturday.

Why do we need buildup when we know it’s Charles M. Schulz, probably the most famous cartoonist in history. They should just tell us now.
3.5/10 This arc was just a buildup to Nate being the guy who made Peanuts.

Don’t forget the last bit of the quote… “but I’m not, so I draw cartoons”

Searched up the quote and it’s Charles Schulz

He should have tried to comb down his hair to complete the look, but that’s proven to be impossible many times.

The really remarkable thing is that he kind of looks like him!

I love how Ms Godfrey’s face lit up in the last panel. Probably the only time Nate caused that reaction in her, ever.
