Reminds me of a scandal a few years ago, a state legislature wrote a law incorrectly and it allowed parents to dump their unruly child, regardless of age, at a “safe” place without fear of legal retribution. Parents of other states were rushing in to dump their kids until the state legislature finally amended the law to limit the age to…2, I think.
