Assisted living? Sometimes you need professional help.

Going through this right now with my mom, and he’s spot on.

Jeremy has a moment of clarity.

I did the same 2005-8 until I couldn’t take care of my mother anymore.

12+ years with my mom. Wish I had someone to vent to. When I finally decided it was time to institutionalize her, against her wishes, she fell in the middle of the night and hit her head….. and passed away the next day.

I can’t handle the same question 3 times in 5 minutes and I tend to get angry.

This story arc makes me wonder if Trudeau was going through this situation at some point in time.

Get a temp and take a vacation. It won’t make it easier, but it will refresh you and make you better.

“Support group” and “Monologue” are not the same thing.

I’d tell him what they telling acting students, “Use it.”

(None of my acting friends ever felt that was helpful.)

She sounds like a drug—-along with being a Female Chauvinist who NEVER takes off her hat!

It would be fun to see Jeremy and Zeke together, see which one is more annoying.

You guys are terrific. I really mean it.

I had the same experience. But my mom was always needy, so the Alzheimer’s just made every thing more frantic. And I lived right next door, and I had all the responsibility, even with 24 hr. caregivers. So I empathize with every person going through this horribe disease affecting a spouse, parent, sibling, or even an adult child or other loved one.May you find peaceful moments.
