All the supposed good qualities of chocolate are cancelled out when you combine it with sugar (and tasty fats). The Mexicans have the right idea with mole (pronounced “mo-lay”) sauce. It’s a spicy chocolate sauce (or marinade). It combines the best health benefits of chocolate and peppers with no added calories. It is also an acquired taste. :)

I will keep testing too Cathy. I know I do feel ‘lifted’ after eating chocolate. Whether that is a physical or psychological effect I do not care.
