That’s probably wise Petey. Once the cute bug has bitten it takes awhile to dissipate and it is best not to fan the flames, unless of course you can turn it to your advantage, like no doubt Alice will learn to do.
Poor Alice. Dad is being rather thoughtless in saying that out loud in her presence. The Petey Principle is probably not in her wheelhouse, regrettably….
