This is not me. I am brutal when it comes to closet cleaning. Lots of Goodwill donations.

I read something the other day that said Americans have too many clothes and other countries don’t want our old stuff anymore. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but it makes me wonder how many resources we waste on sloughing our good old clothes every year.

I’m not this bad, but I do have trouble with getting rid of clothes. My justification is that it is difficult for me to find clothes that fit me (I’m tall and have long legs), and I also don’t like shopping, so if I find something that fits me, I keep it for a while, just in case. Fortunately, I’ve kept my weight in the same range for years so I don’t have to adjust for that. Also, I rarely dress up, so I keep things that I hardly wear because I’m not going to spend money on something that I will only wear a couple of times.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!

I have a lot of clothes but I do wear them until they fall apart. The ones that don’t fit get given away. I will admit that there are a couple of shirts that are past wearing but I won’t throw out because they were for special events – like the last play a good friend directed before he died. That shirt qualifies as a memento.

Happy Monday. And it is happy for a Monday because the sun is shining and my grandson should be arriving in a couple of hours. Yea!!!
