I don’t understand why Annie needs to go to Scotland. Ohio is home to several prestigious universities that undoubtedly have similar programs. And, yeah, the teacher should not have gone behind Lila’s back on this. More things were involved in the decision than just money.
Annie looks so happy, she really like her teacher. To be sincere, he and Lila could be a great couple. But Lila is right in being annoyed by what happened.
