Not a tough choice for me – The Inn. I don’t drink, but the home cooked food appeals. Besides, Fred, there would probably be better tidbits for you there.

Tea and cakes for me. Sausage and Mash doesn’t have the same appeal. And I can’t stand Ale!

Here’s one more vote for Chequers Inn.

Come on guys compromise. Take in both. The Tea Room and Chequers Inn.

I’m with the mister on this one. I want food not just cakes.

Tea Room, don’t drink, but pub grub can be quite tasty, except for oxtail soup. Bleagh!

There is room for a compromise here: a spot of tea first (and there are savory tea sandwiches that Fred could enjoy), then the walk, and finally ending with a more substantial meal at the pub.

Go for the sweets! “Real” ale sounds pretty scary to me!

So, Fred …… if they both go their own way …. which one will you go with … quite the dilemma ….. :)

Bangers, Mash, and Ale/Sirloin Steak, Spuds, Bourbon. Either side of the Pond, real food for real men.
