Broomie, you are a cereal killer……..

There is unfortunately more of that kind of cereal than anything else.

Old unimproved!

She’s actually eating cereal that’s good for you? I thought she’d be all over the sugary cereals.

Going with the old generic, huh, Broomie?

Going in the cereal aisle is mind boggling! So many cereals, and the price is OUTRAGEOUS!

I remember when they shifted a few brands to bag-only to lower the prices as if the cardboard boxes were raising the price up $2. When other brands of other products (rice, cake mixes, etc.) didn’t make the shift we knew it was all BS.

Broomie’s diet plan, cheap and not very good. Yip yip yip yip yip

New and Improved, three words that mean BS, but allows them to justify increasing the product price. Yip yip yip yip yip

I almost always by house brand foods. They’re cheaper, and, often times, better, too.

“New & Improved”…is the company admitting that its previous product was “OLD & INFERIOR”?!?

Like the ads for the fancy meat snacks on FB. $40 for 5 ounces. Yeah, no thanks.

“New & Improved”…bigger, fancier box…less cereal.

Chex, plain Cheerios, Grape Nuts, my tastes are pretty boring.

And most likely the only improved about is word improved on the box.

Even more with galloping grocery inflation, I shop for sales prices and for cheaper house brands or generics as far as possible. Sadly, that doesn’t always cover things that I require, so food expenses are way up over the last year or so.

Hence, I am in accord with our little green witch….
