He’s going to weasel out , again!!

There’s an idea for a book , Adam.

At lest he has taken the first step in recovering from tape addiction.

Last Tuesday at Scouts, we were wrapping presents for our Sub for Santa project. Scouts, leaders, parents were all wrapping. I struggled through one gift and said, “Whatever kid this is going to will know that it didn’t come from Santa’s workshop!” The dad next to me, who had been a wrapper at a department store, looked over and said, “Yeah, don’t quit your day job!”

We were just talking about this on “Arlo & Janis”; some people can wrap presents & some people cannot. Gift bags & tissue paper are a boon to everybody.

Unpleasant memories of scotch tape do tend to stick in the mind a little longer.

scotch tape doesn’t have a odor if you’re not trying to smoke it, Adam!

Yeah, I remember it well. How you got tape in there nobody wants to know.

With my wrapping “skills”, boxes are good, anything else not so much. When I was working at a friend’s sporting goods store, I had a customer watch in horror as I tried to niecly wrap what she bought. Finally she asked if she could do it and I gladly assented.

They also make duck tape. I’ve used electrical tape. No excuse!

Scotch tape is another brand name that’s turned into a generic name, like Kleenex and Xerox.

He such a drama king, too bad bad he can’t transfer it to his writing.

I love the smell of Scotch tape in the morning!

Don’t fret it. It’s what’s INSIDE the package that counts! :)

okay, that’s a wrap…

I used to wrap my gifts myself. I gave up and now hand it off to the charity gift wrap service at the mall.
