Jimbo! New Years’ Eve alone with Rose! Think about it!

I often spend New Year’s Eve with a friend of mine, and we will play Trivial Pursuit well into the night (and, of course, eat plenty of snacks). He has to wake up early on New Year’s Day, so we celebrated the new year last Wednesday.

At least Jimbo has his priorities straight. Although, I would rate Rose as a higher priority than food.

And don’t forget The Three Stooges marathon.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Little Jimbo!

Husband and I have done a cheese fondue for almost every New Years Eve for 48 years. My adult daughter recently told me her grandson wants to do it.

The food is where it’s at.

He’s missing the “kid-free” night this implies…

I’m having New Year’s dinner on New Year’s Eve at my daughter’s. My grandson, his wife and children will be there, and a good time should be had by all!

As I understand things, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, so, soon as Rose makes him a snack, he’ll be all hers!

I don’t have a clue as to what I’ll be doing tomorrow. Since the blizzard kept everyone at home; we never got the chance to make plans.

When you talk about new year celebration with Meemaw, all adults of lesser age than her can grow down to be children.

My thoughts precisely…..

New Year’s was the night Nana took in all the grandkids for a sleep over. We’d all watch Guy Lombardo and pull taffy.

The quality of the taffy was determined by the age of the grandkid. Regardless of age, it was all good taffy.

To be a kid again …
