    Welp, this is it Vagabonds

Last day 2022, can’t say I’ll miss it. Will 2023 be any better?

    Oh, what a party pooper.

Got up to see 38 degrees this morning. High of 50 with off and on rain showers. Crazy for News Years.

I’ll do my usual New Years Eve thing, watch the boob tube till midnite when the ball drops and then fall face first into bed. Well, maybe not face first. (^.^)

Enjoy your New Years Eve and may God bless your New Year.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Wow, it’s the last day of the year. I cannot believe how quickly this year has passed. Things are a lot different than they were at the end of last year, both nationally and personally for all of us. Let us pray that 2023 will be a good year for each of us.

Mike came by after work yesterday and among other things, took me to the store to get that water. We were both grateful to him for that, it saved both of our backs. We took him out to Blueberry Hill for dinner as a thank you. It’s an old fashioned diner here in Vegas with several locations. I get a kick out of their menu. It is huge, but when you open it up, it is 3/4 photos.

The avatar is one of the cactus flowers that grew in my front yard at our last house. I had to get up in the early hours to get the photo because they bloom at night and last one night only.

This evening we’re planning to go to that local casino. We’ll see how it goes. I don’t really want to be on the road at midnight. Too many fools out there.

Today’s forecast is for 62 and then drops to the mid fifties for the rest of the 10 day. (Up from yesterday’s low fifties) We’re supposed to get rain showers tomorrow. There’s a big black cloud right over us, but it’s moving south quickly followed by mostly blue skies.

Everyone have a blessed day and a safe New Year’s Eve.

    Happy New Year Vagabonds

It’s 40 degrees right now and ain’t going to change much. Snow showers this afternoon.

Watched the ball drop last night. The show was new country from Nashville, rather have classic country my self. At midnite they had a crew in NYC to watch the ball drop. I wanted to watch “Holiday Inn” last night but, I couldn’t get YouTube cough it up.

May God bless you in the coming year and have a wonerful day.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my Vagabond friends.

We had a lot of fun last night. We went to that small local casino and they had removed all of their table games in favor of more slot machines. We stayed just long enough to walk all the way around the perimeter looking for where they might have moved the tables. We then went to one of the big resorts that caters to locals and had a blast at the black jack tables. Michael even played a bit of craps. We were home by 10 and in bed by 11.

Everything is wet outside, though it isn’t raining at the moment. I have no doubt that it will start again about the time I’m ready to leave for church. Michael says it rained pretty hard in the middle of the night, enough to wake him but I slept through it. The forecast is for 57 and rain.

Everyone have a blessed Sunday and a happy new year.
